How Do Realtors Set Up YouTube Ads Conversion Tracking?
Noah Haupt walks real estate agents through tracking lead-form submissions and booked appointments in Google Ads using a HighLevel funnel. The tutorial covers URL-based conversion actions, tag installation, troubleshooting, and the custom conversion values he uses in his setup.

What does this video cover?

- —Map lead submissions and booked appointments to different funnel URLs.
- —Install the Google tag in the HighLevel tracking-code fields shown.
- —Troubleshoot each conversion with its triggering URL.
- —Assign custom values and select the goals when creating a leads campaign.
Why should agents track leads and booked appointments separately?
Noah describes conversion tracking as the feedback that lets Google recognize the outcomes an agent wants. He says he has seen campaigns stop working after tracking broke, so the walkthrough treats measurement as a core campaign component rather than an optional reporting task.
His example funnel has three stages: an opt-in page, a booking page, and a booking-success page. Reaching the booking page indicates that someone submitted contact information. Reaching the success page after using the calendar indicates a booked appointment. Those are two different conversion actions, not one generic website visit.
How do you create the two website conversion actions?
From the Google Ads dashboard, open Goals, then Conversions, then Summary. Choose Create conversion action and select Website. Noah does not use the app, phone-call, or import options in this tutorial. Enter the root domain used by the landing-page funnel, rather than a full URL containing an individual page path, and scan it. The domain and funnel need to be published.
Create a Submit lead form conversion goal using Page load. For its triggering page, use the booking-page URL that visitors reach after submitting their information. The page is functioning as confirmation of the previous action, even though it is not itself the opt-in form.
Add another website conversion action for Book appointment. Use the booking-success or thank-you page reached after a calendar booking. Noah leaves enhanced conversions enabled and proceeds with Agree and continue. The important distinction is which completed action each destination page represents.
Where does Noah install the Google tracking tag in HighLevel?
After creating the actions, Noah opens the tag setup and copies the code Google provides. In HighLevel, he first checks that the funnel has a selected domain and is live. He then pastes the code into the head tracking and body tracking fields in the funnel settings and saves.
He also opens the page editor, finds Tracking code, pastes the code into Header tracking, saves, and publishes. These are the locations demonstrated in his HighLevel walkthrough; he notes that other funnel builders organize their controls differently. Saving an editor change without publishing is not the completed workflow he shows.
What should you do when Google says the tag was not detected?
The first installation test in the demonstration returns a not-detected message. Rather than assuming the entire setup failed, Noah clicks Done and uses Troubleshoot on the Submit lead form action. He copies the complete URL of the booking page that triggers that conversion and enters it into the troubleshooting flow.
When Tag Assistant produces a check mark, he closes it and repeats the process for Book appointment using the booking-success URL. Testing the first destination does not replace testing the second one: each conversion must recognize its own trigger.
After refreshing the conversion summary, his status changes to No recent conversions. In the context of this demonstration, Noah treats that as confirmation that the setup is ready, rather than expecting live lead activity to already appear. The manual tests verify the URL-based tracking paths he configured.
How does Noah assign values and connect the goals to a campaign?
Noah opens each conversion action and edits its value in Settings. He uses a hypothetical median home price of $500,000 and discusses a commission-based calculation, correcting himself as he works through it. The final value entered on screen is $125 for Submit lead form and $125 for Book appointment. These are assigned conversion values, not advertising budgets or reported revenue per lead.
Although he introduces values as a way to think about priorities, the actual demonstration assigns the same value to both actions. It does not establish a validated expected-revenue formula or show a higher appointment weighting. The clearest reproducible detail is the pair of values he actually saves.
Finally, start creating a campaign with the Leads objective and confirm that both conversion goals appear. If one is missing, use Add goal and select it. Creating the conversion actions in the account is only part of the workflow; Noah also checks that the new campaign includes them.
What else should you know about this video?
What should real estate agents track as YouTube ad conversions?
In Noah Haupt’s tutorial, real estate agents track Submit lead form and Book appointment as separate website conversion actions. A booking-page load confirms the form submission, while a booking-success page load confirms the calendar appointment.
Do I enter my entire landing-page URL when Google scans my website?
Noah Haupt enters the root domain when creating the website conversion setup in Google Ads. He uses the specific booking and booking-success page URLs later to define and troubleshoot the individual conversion actions.
What if Google Ads cannot detect my conversion tag?
Noah Haupt uses Troubleshoot on each conversion action and enters the full URL that should trigger it. In his demonstration, Tag Assistant shows a check mark for both the lead and appointment destinations even after the first installation check did not detect the tag.
What conversion values does Noah use in the walkthrough?
Noah Haupt assigns a $125 conversion value to both Submit lead form and Book appointment in the demonstration. Those are custom tracking values, not ad-spend amounts or verified earnings from each conversion.
How do I add my conversion actions to a YouTube leads campaign?
When creating a campaign with the Leads objective, confirm that the lead-form and appointment goals are listed. Noah Haupt shows using Add goal to select any conversion action that is not already included.
